Sharp Windows Collaboration Display

Virtual meetings are more prominent than ever, and Sharp has a great solution to add to your smart office. The Windows Collaboration Display includes a next generation 4K 70inch class interactive display, built-in microphone, 4k camera and IoT sensor hub that works seamlessly with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools!

The Windows Collaboration Display is the first of its kind to be Skype for Business certified and includes Microsoft Teams for a complete chat, notes, attachments, and online meetings solution that makes everyone feel as if they are in the same room, even when connecting with others outside of the office. The integrated microphone has a reach of 12-18 feet and the 4k UHD camera helps support high quality and low noise video at 30 frames per second. The Windows Collaboration Display has BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) functionality. You can easily connect wirelessly with your own device to the display and share your content or even insert a flash drive directly into the USB port on the front of the display, no more trying to find hard to reach ports on the back of the board!

For those in the office, the Windows Collaboration Display monitors room temperature, occupancy, air quality and light. Using built-in sensors that connect to the Microsoft Azure Digital Twins IoT platform or any other cloud service, the Windows Collaboration Display intelligently measures and can automatically regulate room temperature and relative humidity if connected to an AI service. That way the meeting room that everyone knows not to use because its always freezing or blistering hot is a thing of the past.

A motion sensor on the Windows Collaboration Display can be activated to detect the presence of people in the room and then an AI service will analyze the data to count the number of people in attendance. Using this feature, the AI can also detect the location of the person speaking in the room and control a three-dimensional microphone array to focus on that person. The air quality sensor on the Windows Collaboration Display assesses the surrounding environment for CO2 and TVOC levels. An AI service can automatically adjust settings to provide the best possible working environment.

The included ambient light sensor automatically measures the level of light and an AI service could then adjust the room lighting system. For example, changing from day to night conditions that can help reduce eye strain and could save money on wasted energy!

The screen can be utilized using a mouse, the included passive touch pen, or even by using your finger. When using the pen, the Windows Collaboration Display offers palm reject; so, as you create, extra lines are not drawn, and your palm does not interfere with the system. The display is equipped with Direct Optimal Bonding and P-CAP Touch so it can respond quickly and accurately to all of your actions.
